1st Defence Solutions tutors are highly trained in both martial arts and our self-defence and conflict management programmes.
Our course tutors hold qualifications in Coaching, Health & Safety, First Aid & Child Protection, these qualifications are awarded from MASTARR or the British Aikido Board National Governing Body.
1st Defence Solutions senior tutor is Shaun Hoddy 6th Dan Tomiki Aikido, 1st Dan Taiho-Jutsu. Shaun has been practising Aikido since 1975 and is secretary of the Zen Eikoku Tomiki Aikido Renmei.
Taiho-Jutsu means the art of arrest.
